ALUMA Performance (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of all athletes, parents, and visitors who engage with our programs, services, and website.
We manage personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), as administered by the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), as well as the policies of Netball Australia and Netball Queensland.

This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information in compliance with the Australian Government’s Privacy Act 1988 and relevant sporting-body requirements.

We collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for us to deliver coaching, athlete development, and administration.

• Medical details relevant to safe participation

• Athlete performance data, testing results, and development notes

• Registration and payment information

• Media consent details (photos / videos / social media)

• Directly from athletes, parents, or guardians via registration forms or surveys

• During attendance at clinics, programs, or competitions

• Through our website, booking systems, or email communication

• From third-party platforms such as Netball Connect or Netball Australia registration systems

• Register athletes for programs and sessions

• Deliver personalised coaching and support

• Communicate about schedules, updates, and results

• Track athlete progress and performance

• Meet insurance, legal, and child-safety requirements

• Provide information about upcoming events and opportunities

• Ensure compliance with Netball Australia and Netball Queensland policies

We never use or disclose personal information for unrelated purposes without consent.

5. Storage and Security

Personal information is stored securely using password-protected Google Workspace and Netball Connect systems.
Access is restricted to authorised coaches and administrators only.
We take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure in accordance with APP 11.

6. Disclosure of Information

Information may be shared with:

• Affiliated organisations (e.g. Netball Australia, Netball Queensland) for registration and insurance purposes

• Emergency services or medical professionals in case of injury

• Technology service providers who assist our operations (e.g. Google), subject to privacy obligations

We never sell or rent personal information to third parties.

7. Access and Correction

Under APP 12 and 13, you have the right to:

• Request access to your personal information

• Ask for corrections if information is inaccurate or out of date

8. Website Analytics and Cookies

Our website (https://sites.google.com/aluma-performance) may collect anonymous analytics data such as browser type, pages visited, and visit duration.

Photographs or videos may be taken during clinics and games for training or promotional use.
Media consent will always be sought from athletes or guardians before publication.
